“I had breast implant surgery with a lift after two pregnancies 13 years ago. My breast looked great for a few years but eventually, I noticed that I needed another lift and it was also time to repair the capsular contracture of my left breast. I visited 7 doctors in the Houston area and also considered going out of the country since my first surgery was performed in Venezuela. All doctors recommended an explant with a lift, some suggested to change my implants to preserve the fullness of my breast. But at this point, I was ready to say goodbye to breast implants for good. Last December, I got ready for surgery and decided to go with Dr. Horndeski. I was very impressed with his technique and the fact that I didn’t have to remove implants 10 years from now. Dr. Horndesdki addressed all my questions and concerns. The day of surgery, Elisa and Dr. Horndeski performed some measurements and used the scanner of the Bellesoma software. The surgery lasted a little over 4 hours and the anesthesia made me extremely nauseated. They gave me medication via IV and was sent home with a new breast and a pair of drainages. The first night was good, I barely had pain and the medication made me sleepy. My first post-op appointment was the day after surgery. The big revealed. I was swollen and slightly bruised but was happy to see how high and tight my breast looked. For the next few days, I kept taking my prescriptions and kept track of my drainages. They were removed 3 days after surgery and I can say that it was the most painful part of the whole process. Elisa told me to take a deep breath as she pulled one drainage out and then the other one….Ah! Thankfully, it goes away really fast. Elisa pointed at my belly and asked me if I had a bowel movement yet. Even though I was taking laxatives and stool softeners… I have not gone to the bathroom. She told my husband to get me Magnesium Citrate. I can thank her enough for that; I had a bad experience with narcotics in the past and this was very helpful. Overall, I’m happy with the results! My breast sit higher up in my chest and look like I was in my twenties again. In fact, it looks like I lost some weight but in reality it was my implants that made me look bigger than I actually am. Thank you Dr. Horndeski.”
